Vancouver Island Earthquake June 10, 2017 is reporting that there was a 4.8 magnitude earthquake off of Vancouver Island Saturday, June 10.  The earthquake was 10Km beneath the surface of the ocean floor near the Cascadia Subduction Zone. This is the largest of 92 earthquakes in the Pacific Northwest since May 25 according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Centre. Most of the smaller earthquakes have occurred in Northern California. The Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) is where most scientists believe The Big One will originate.
